Rules for the use of Bibury Camping

General

  • Bibury Camping Limited (“Bibury Camping”) is certified by The Greener Camping Club. The rules below are adapted from The Greener Camping Club website at https://www.greenercamping.org/membership/site-rules/.

  • Bibury Camping’s site is for the exclusive use of Greener Camping Club Members. In order to stay at a Greener Camping Club Certificated Site, at least one member of each occupied camping pitch, or pre-erected structure must hold a valid membership to the Greener Camping Club. Membership runs from 1st January to 31st December each year though memberships taken out after 1st September provide membership to the end of the current calendar year and for the whole of the following calendar year.

  • Bibury Camping accepts no liability for loss or damage to persons or property arising from the use of its site.

  • The activities of Bibury Camping are guided by The Country Code and the Caravan Code.

Upon Arrival

  • We are open for guests from 1pm on their first day of booking (and ask guests to vacate their pitch by 11am on the day of their departure).

  • The speed limit on the Bibury Camping site is 5 mph.

  • Members must produce proof of membership when requested to do so by Bibury Camping.

  • Bibury Camping reserves the right to direct guests to a particular pitch.

  • For fire and safety reasons, tents, trailer tents, caravans and motorhomes must be pitched so that the outside edge is a minimum of six metres from an adjacent unit (pup tents excepted).

During Your Stay

  • Members must follow all instructions provided by Bibury Camping.

  • Members must sort and put their rubbish in the bins provided and deal with waste water (disposal of chemical waste is not permitted) as directed by Bibury Camping.

  • Dogs are not permitted. Other pets may be permitted on request to Bibury Camping.

  • Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.

  • Noise must be kept to a reasonable level at all times and there must be no noise or vehicle movements between 10.30pm and 7.30am.

  • Generators, amplified music and the operation of any type of powered equipment or machinery are not permitted. Electric points are solely for domestic uses.

  • Campfires are permitted and we encourage you to make them on the stone ‘grates’ you’ll find around the site. They are not to be left unattended and must be supervised by a responsible adult. In dry weather water buckets are available at the standpipe in the facilities area - we recommend you keep one next to your campfire.

  • Camping units are not permitted to be left unattended overnight unless agreed with Bibury Camping.

  • If the behaviour of a Member, or that of their children, causes nuisance to other Members, or there is persistent violation of GCC Rules herein, Bibury Camping is empowered to ask the Member to cease the behaviour/violation, or leave the site immediately without refund.

  • Day visitors are only permitted with the prior agreement of Bibury Camping.

Departure Day

  • We ask guests to vacate their pitch by 11am on the day following the final night of their booking.

  • Vacated pitches/pre-erected structures must be left clear of all personal property and refuse.
